This year WHO-HPH Summer School focuses on policy making, teaching and training of staff and development and maintenance of staff awareness on health issues.
International HPH experts will present development and implementation of comprehensive health promoting policies aimed at patient staff and community, as well as the environment.
By participating in this year WHO-HPH Summer School you will be trained and supported in making a policy on health promotion for your Hospital or Health Service.
Through the day and a half programme, the participants will also gain experience in the making of a teaching curriculum for health promotion for physicians, nurses and other health professionals. Examples on curriculums will be presented and discussed in workshops.
The programme will also contain training in establishment of staff programmes for better health gain. Examples on smoking cessation interventions, alcohol treatment, counselling on diet and nutrition as well as the physical activity are addressed.

About the WHO-HPH Schools
