HFS - Nätverket Hälsofrämjande sjukvård
The Swedish HFS network was established in 1996 and is a part of the international HPH network. HFS was has today over 80 members all over Sweden; hospitals, primary care, county councils and regions, including the majority of the Swedish health services.
The vision is: Towards a more health promoting health service.
The mission of the Swedish HFS network is the same as the international network and the HFS network aims at developing a more health oriented health service, focusing on best possible health for patients, co-workers and population. The HFS network operates within four different perspectives: Patient, Co-worker and Population perspectives but also Management perspective.
The network works through task forces in eleven areas, eg health promoting encounters, lifestyle intervention, and aims at creating arenas and opportunities for learning and exchanges of information and experiences between the members in different regions all over Sweden.
